Hello everyone! I just wanted to check in and let you know I have just participated in North Carolina Fashion Week! It was my first runway show and I had an amazing time, not to mention meeting some amazing designers, photographers, and models! I am pleasantly surprised by how kind and helpful everyone was. Hello there!

I am an aspiring model and wanted to create a space where beginners like me can reference real conversations to assist them in the industry. I am hoping that through sharing experiences, answering questions and problem-solving that we will be able to support and encourage each other in our pursuit of following our dreams.

This business is competitive, and I am hoping that we can create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable space for us to honestly communicate our challenges, successes, and uncertainties.

Please feel free to offer suggestions, warnings, or general guidance that you may feel helpful to others, aspiring to enter the entertainment and fashion worlds.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted a spot for people to share their experiences, their challenges and questions they may have regarding creating an operating their nonprofit.

I do not have experience in creating or operating a business outside of work experience and the passion I feel in wanting to give back to those that I know need it. Having been in the position firsthand of receiving assistance in those hardest positions of life.

I know the lack in the system and areas that make it really difficult for people to get out of the spot they find themselves in at the moment. It is my hope to be able to fill in the gaps, but I know I have a lot to learn, and I have already come up against many challenges. I am hoping that through our shared experiences we will be able to encourage and support each other…

I know that there are times we feel as if no one will listen or would understand what you are going through. I want you to know that if you feel like you need to talk or vent or just want somebody to say a prayer for you, you could come here and I will do what I can to make you feel seen, heard and supported. I will not judge you, and if you have questions for me, I will answer them honestly.

This is a new adventure for me, but I believe that there are like-minded people going through similar situations, and if we share our experiences and support one another, we will be able to overcome these challenges easier, and we will never feel completely . Our hope will always be rejuvenated. Our faith restored. And our dreams supported.
